Sometimes you can’t get her to sit through a picture book, and sometimes she will surprise you with her concentration. Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree is a long read – for a 21-month-old – but Ruby loves it.
Sometimes she uses her right hand, and sometimes she uses her left.
Sometimes you think she needs everything peeled and cut into bite sizes, and sometimes she surprises you by eating the whole apple by herself.
And then sometimes, she does whatever it is she does…
