it’s a fantastic picture. i showed it to lucy, who thought ruby was adorable (she wants Ruby to meet her cousin Lan, “wouldn’t they be so CUTE together?”). anyway, now, when i want lu to pucker up and give me a smooch i say, gimme some ruby lips. also, lucy is very curious to know how many freckles ruby has now.
Nikki: She had one, now she has TWO! I never thought about my freckles growing on me. So it’s been crazy to see it sprout on her face. One on her right cheek and the other above her lips.
i shall give lucy the freckle report. she will be delighted that ruby is becoming a full-fledged member and not just a freckle-tourist with one lonely dot on her face.
i hope you smooched her after she gave you her bestest smooch face. that look would be too cute to pass up.
