And She Crawls!

It was a long time coming.

Remember this? How hard we tried to get a certain Someone Whose Name Rhymes With Luby to crawl towards the iPhone?

But Someone Whose Name Rhymes With Luby decided she wasn’t going to be anyone’s performing monkey and sat on her bottom for a few more months before one day, standing up and walking at 12 months?

Well, I say!

Let me formally announce the arrival of the much-anticipated Crawling Skill. At 15 months.

If you ask me, Someone Whose Name Rhymes With Luby doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about.

  • Heh… cute.
Everyone in D’s group was sitting but he can’t sit on his own at all. Instead, he decided he can crawl first. So he crawled before he can sit.
He still sits funny with one leg forward and the other in the back.

  • LOL. what if Ruby later decides that crawling is more fun and refuses to walk anymore? LOL!

ur kid sure breaks all the rules, eh? :)

  • hey my mom always told me about the Ruby types who would scoot on their bums for months and then perform the amazing walking miracle! how funny to see it in real life! but i dun think she’ll stick to crawling for long. i think it takes too much effort. Humans’ tushes are way to heavy for crawling! haha. hugs to rubes and you too!

  • what’s the deal with the arm swinging back? it looks like some kind of routine she’s learned!

  • I can’t get over the arm swing too, Nikki. I think this crawling thing is very weird to her, and she can’t seem to understand how hands figure into it!
