Sometimes I Need The Validation

Some days, I am very tempted to allow spam comments from such legitimate identities as black jack poker, click here, and my favorite, preflop calculating tools.

“Hi there, I must say that you have done a wonderful job on your site and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I thank you for sharing it with me…”

“Wow, this is a great web site. I am so glad I found it, thank you. It is funny, I was just talking to my friend about their web site, and they said they like your site too!”

Spammers are getting smarter. There’s less “Want to be bigger?” and more “Great Site. Hope you can improve it again!”

On days I’m feeling crappy and uninspired, I want to reach out and click that NOT SPAM button and let the good feelings roll.

Because deep down, we all just want to be loved.

How To Tell If Ruby Is A Mac Or A PC

Ruby’s curiosity is immediately piqued when I show her the Apple iPhone.

She gives it her wet seal of approval.

I try the old “bait and switch” routine with her toy phone, but Ruby was not born yesterday.

She ignores the fake phone and jealously guards her new phone. Just look at that body language!

I fear my iPhone will short-circuit on baby drool and attempt to take it back.

Bad idea.

Ruby gets what she wants. She always does.

See that glint in her eye?

That’s the same look Jay has when Steve Jobs unveils a new toy.

Welcome to the club, Ruby.

Oh! Ba! Ma!

Ruby marked Election Day with her Red, White, and Blue outfit at Atta’s, where we watched returns on CNN. (Thanks for that delicious turkey soup!)

Her highlight of the day was meeting a cat for the first time, when she very nearly poked Mojo’s eyes out with her curiosity.

My highlight of the day was watching Obama win.

Now there’s some serious mojo!

I Don’t Know What To Say Except I Am Very Excited And Scared

I want to believe.

That the right man will be the next President of the United States.

Waiter, There Is A Hello Kitty In My Peas.

Happy Halloween!

Boo!

And for those of you playing the guessing game, Ruby is 20 pounds (with costume).

The pumpkin is 14.
