I need an intervention for my Nutella addiction.
If you are a friend, you know what to do.
Intervene! Now! Throw yourself in front of an incoming scoop of Nutella! Tackle me on the way to the kitchen! Do something! Anything!
Remember when I said I was going to stop eating that stuff for breakfast?
I lied.
I haven’t progressed to eating straight from the jar yet, but I usually take way too much for the piece of toast so that I am forced, FORCED I tell ya, to lick the rest off the knife. Life is hard.
So it was with some panic that I realized I was running out of Nutella. I rectified the situation by buying a new jar that same day.
Jay says to slow it down.
“Don’t overdo it or you’ll get sick of it,” he warns.
“I won’t…”
Hey, hey, wait a minute. THAT’S an idea!

u know, i loveee nutella. the creamy, smooth, sweet richness that melts away all your problems the way it melts in ur mouth…
mmmmmmm.
ok, i’m not helping, am i?
wahahahahahahahahahaha.
I love nutella too. Strangely, I think I discovered it very, very late. I never had it when I was a kid!
@ghimlay: i discovered nutella in JC! back whn i was a kid, my parents never let us eat such “unhealthy” things. we had low fat jam/preserves with toast, and wholesome breakfasts, NEVER peanutbutter nor nutella! (i think dot is making up for all the lost time too hahaha)
Don’t fight it… embrace it…
May the spoon be with you… actually when all else fails finger straight in works well too…
This is why when I was younger all the good stuff had to be stashed on the upper shelves: Milo, Horlicks, Nutella, Kaya – all good to eat with spoon, neat, straight out of tin/jar…
Darryl used to be horrified…but he’s come round to the pleasures of eating neat with spoon. Though he draws the line with finger straight in.
Oh just make sure no re-dipping. Now THAT’S gross…
As I said at the start: Don’t fight it… embrace it!
I’m currently using a chopstick instead of a spoon. It somehow prolongs the life of my nutella, I guess since there’s less nutella per twirl.
Less messy too eat too. I find eating Hacks sweets (The black sweet in bright red transparent wrapping – I hope u know what I’m referring to) before my chocolate binging sessions quickly dampens my appetite for more nutella!
But I tend to eat till I get really sick of it. So in a sense, overdoing it DOES work.
oops I meant “less messy to eat too.”
I went through an affair with Nutella too but that didn’t last too long..don’t worry, enjoy it whilst the passion is high haha. How bad can whole hazelnuts and skim milk be hehehe…
You guys are not helping!!! AAAHAHAHAHAH!
i bought a bottle of nutella on my way home from work.
WHEEEEEEE~
Oh wow. Have you tried the German version? Soooo gooood. Used to go all the way to Bukit Timah and pay through my nose for it.
My record – a 400g bottle in 3 days.
So it sounds like a lot of people out there need an intervention program! And what is the German version? Got difference? Oh dear. People! You are supposed to stop me! Not feed me
The German version is slightly more bitter and less sugary sweet and milky. Delicious!!!
Now I want some Nutella.
