What did all total (non-PC) geeks do on Friday evening last week?
They were in line to buy the iPhoneâ€â€the most coveted geek item since, oh, I dunno, since that woman in Weird Science.
The wannabe geeks like me just wandered into the store two hours after the release of the iPhone and fiddled around with the display piece. Away from the maddening crowds.
Even Jay was salivating and calling it the future of phones.
But at $599 a pop, iCould do without it.
