This is the branch that Dot hit.
With her head.
While walking briskly through Discovery Park.
Which she never does anyway (the “walking,” the “briskly,” and the “Discovery Park” parts), but Chinhon was in town and so she broke her own rules.
I was wearing some hatâ€â€see pictureâ€â€that was not only totally un-sports-gear-like, but also rendered my view of the world to just five inches in front of my face, with a clear view of my feet.
Both Jay and Chinhon heard the thwarp as my head hit the branch and turned around, alarmed. It hurt like hell but I was too embarrassed to whine about it then, so here we are: WHINE CITY.
Whine whine whine whine whine.
How much of an uncoordinated idiot do you have to be to hit a tree in a park?
I mean, only one of us is moving!
Can I be any less of an evolved creature?
I might as well have walked into a wall of an empty room.
Whine whine whine whine whine.

where/what were u looking at that u didn’t notice the branch? haha.
if its any consolation to u, i’ve walked into pillars, lamp posts, and once, a drain. i can also trip over nothing on flat ground.
*shrugs* part and parcel of being a blur queen, a blind bat, and a klutz.
i represent the SPCT. a member has lodged a complaint about a collision with a homo sapient. below is the said member’s message to you, translated from a minute’s worth of leaves and branch swaying:
“While myself, fellow members of the SPCT and their botanical cousins may be lateral-movement-challenged, we are no less evolved than the homo sapients. Witness the extraordinary growth of our Del Monte Musaceae cousin, for instance. [)though I must protest about their involuntary displacement}>.’;.sdfqf”
(50 seconds of gibberish)
“…ease wear the hat backwards. Thank you.”
it must have been the hat. which is quite nice by the way!
Oh dear, hope your head is OK. Here’s something to cheer you up. I saw this href=”http://lifethroughacatseyes.blogspot.com/2007/02/road-trip_21.html” target =”blank”picture, and thought of you.
