What did people do before digital cameras, emails, jpegs, attachments, and killer processing capacity?
This!
A Zip diskâ€â€remember these?â€â€slides, photographs “for scanning” and gasp, a floppy disk. A FLOPPY DISK!
That’s like saying I found a glitter pen and some Doc Martens.
Whatever happened to the early 2000s?
I could have sworn I was toting around a Zip disk not so long ago, or was it so long ago?
I uncovered these gems as I cleared the office todayâ€â€a mission obviously never attempted by anyone before me in said office space. Evidently editors moved in and simply accumulated stuff. There were papers from the 90s. Nineties, people.
Everything’s online now. Your photos, your company info, your life.
Who’s throwing THAT stuff out?

i was clearing some of the stuff from my bookshelves the other day, n i found some floppy disks as well.
i wanted to see what was inside, cos i obviously can’t remember. then i realised.. that none of the computers/laptops we have at home have floppy drives anymore!
so i threw them all away. haha.
seen one of those B: drive, 5 1/4 inch disks lately? now, those are old-school.
What’s B drive? What’s A drive? I think I forgot.
A drive is where the floppy disk goes! (the green one in your pic)
B drive is where the 5 1/4 inch disk goes. here’s a photo of one.
