Ask Me What I Did When I was 32

Jay’s grandpa turned 94 this week.

94.

Ninety-four.

XCIV.

Dude.

What do you do when you’re 94? Stay sharp, dress sharp, tell tons of stories and have a martini every night.

When (and if) I get that old, I want people to listen to my memories of youtube.com, blogging and that Internet thing.

Bumbershoot!

It’s Fantastic! It’s Spellbinding!

It’s Bumbershoot!

Never Say Never

I don’t eat corn.

I don’t enjoy avocado.

I don’t particularly like cous cous.

I don’t know why I bought this lunch of “seared yellowfin tuna with spicy avocado, corn and cous cous”. My brain must have stopped reading after yellowfin tuna.

I am stubborn. I am even more stubborn about my food.

Lately though, I’ve adopted a never-say-never attitude, ordering stuff that would have sent me running a few weeks ago.

Why?

Who the h*ll knows? But I’d like to think of that as a life metaphor for being ready to try whatever used to scare me in the past.

Whatever it was, I wolfed that sucker down.
